Download nu de routekaart 2024 Een ander ‘ijkpunt’ tijdens de opbouw van onze Lichtjesroute is het publiceren van de routekaart op onze website en andere sociale media. Online kan dan bekeken worden waar de ornamenten en lichtprojecten zich dit jaar in de route bevinden en welke ornamenten nieuw zijn in de route. Bike night - Saturday, Sept. 21

Traditioneel is op de eerste zaterdag dat alle lichtjes branden onze jaarlijkse Fietsavond.  Het idee daarachter is dat je op de fiets meer ziet en geniet en het is ook nog eens ‘lekker groen’.  Op drie markante locaties binnen de route worden de effecten van onze ornamenten en lichtprojecten nog eens extra luister bijgezet door live muziek. Bezoekers én uitvoerende muzikanten genieten steeds weer tijdens deze avond. De muzikanten treden op tussen 19.00-22.00 uur. Unfortunately, no wheelstour in 2024

Doubts in the insurance terms for old army vehicles have made the board of De Lichtjesroute - together with Club Wheels - decide - that unfortunately there will be no evenings at De Lichtjesroute this year where a tour with these army vehicles is a part of it. We continue to look for solutions for the coming years.

Frequently asked questions

The lights will be lit on September 18 and extinguished on the 2nd Sunday of October at 10:30 p.m. The lights will be on Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Much of the ornaments only turn on when the lampposts come on.

The quietest days are Monday through Thursday. Weekends are busier, please be aware of traffic jams on the route.

  • By bicycle without children: two hours;
  • By bicycle with children: three hours;
  • By car midweek: an hour and a half;
  • By car on weekends: three hours, traffic jams!
  • On foot: about 6 hours, advice: do it in two stages.

Yes, the route is on public roads, so free for anyone to visit.
